Laughing Cows Comedy at Tribeca, Manchester with Suzi Ruffell and Katie Mulgrew (Ed previews)

This month at Laughing Cows Comedy both the 'charmingly honest…delightfully tender and thoroughly entertaining.' (The Skinny) Katie Mulgrew and one of the 'circuit favourites’ (Time Out) Suzi Ruffell and will be bringing us a preview of their shows. What a treat !

In August, the world's most vibrant comedians flock the to world famous Fringe Festival. For those that want to be two steps ahead of the curve or can't get up to Scotland this summer, we are working in partnership with The Women In Comedy Festival to bring some Edinburgh Fringe shows preview to Manchester. You can see the next generation of creatives workshopping their fringe material for a fraction of normal theatre costs — if you know where to look and it seems like you do!

Doors for this double headliner bill will open at 7.00pm and the shows will run back to back from 8.00-10.30pm with one break in between the shows.


Hi Suzi here! I’m coming to one of my favourite clubs Laughing Cows to do a work in progress of my new show ‘Be Lucky’ (title may change), its about class, injustice and how much my Mum wants me to have a baby. I also have a great routine being argumentative after white wine. I am writing this blurb in January so I am not sure what else I’ll talk about yet but it will* be funny. *subject to change

Katie Mulgrew
Lancashire comedian, Katie Mulgrew really likes making people laugh. It’s kinda her thing. She’s done lots of lovely things whilst being a comedian like being tour support for The Boy With Tape On His Face and Vikki Stone. She has written for  The News Quiz and you can hear her dulcet Northern tones featured on the BBC Radio 2 documentary series, The history of British comedy. She got to be very silly indeed on a couple of episodes of the CBBC show, The Dog Ate My Homework. She recently co-hosted a Tv pilot on ITV2 called Lovefix.
